Piapplications has an ongoing research, review and development program centred around providing best performance and value in Agentic Chatbot integrations into our own and customer platforms.
It is a very rapidly changing environment and our program is engaged with multiple LLMs, using a range of development strategies. Needless to say what seems the best choice of LLM and strategy today may not be the optimum strategy in 3 months or even 3 weeks.

The development environment we work in today is vastly different to 2013 when Piapplications started. A significant amount of what we do requires integration with other business systems. All of our work is today hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud servers. We live in a world full of API’s!
AI is in the process of changing the entire IT universe in ways we can't even see yet!
Underlying everything we do is data management and manipulation, which means often our first step is designing a data structure to suit the end goal.
Our role is to create software platforms that allow businesses to easily access and use their data and that have interfaces that are simple for the end user. Above all software should be profitable for the business and maintain the sovereignty of the core enterprise software. We live in exciting times.
